I'm Back

Yes, I am back and am sorry for the long absence.

I had decided to take a break and sit back to watch the developments of the new administration, the bailout plans and the promised help to homeowners.

Our new President seems to be popular, the bailout continues to the tune of trillions of dollars and the help to homeowners is non existent.

Does anyone really care about us? We are the American people - we are the country. Evidently not.

What we have going on here is a battle for control between the banks and our government - and the banks are winning.

Big money is getting bigger - just look at all the oil speculators out there again - raising the price per barrel of oil which in turn is raising the price per gallon to us at the pumps.

At a time when the country - the people - are in the worst economic downturn since the Great Depression (and I still say history will record this as The Greater Depression), instead of prices going down for most consumer products they are going up. Food and fuel - the basics that everyone needs to exist - continue to rise in price along with the profits of these mega companies. What ever happened to a fair and equitable profit that did not gouge anyone?

Housing is yet another issue. With most housing unaffordable to most and with millions being displaced from their homes by foreclosure, loss of income, illness and other valid reasons, the number of homeless is rising as well.

Hunger, heat or cold (depending on the season) and ability to travel to and from work - if you have a job at all - are the realities of life today.

So, you may ask, where is our government in all this? They are out there spilling trillions of dollars into the vast wastelands of the banks, other financial institutions such as AIG and others that have become "too big to fail" at the expense of the American people.

Now it is time to become vocal once again. The original purpose of this blog was to expose the truth behind what was once called "the mortgage meltdown". To expose those at the very top of the ladder - the Wall Street firms along with the major banks - as the true culprits in this crisis.

Of course, we have learned all about these big financial istitutions along with their top management. To me they all appear to be criminals. They brought down the entire worlds financial system even some countries. Is Bernie Madoff the fall guy for them - in an effort to divert everyone's attention once again - from the truth and reality?

Stay tuned to this blog. Ask questions. Let's begin dialogue. Let's let America speak out and then and only then can we as a unified nation of people begin to take back control of our nation and our lives and not be at the mercy of "the banks".

Ask questions, leave comments and let's create a dialogue. I will share my knowledge and experience with you. I am not sure - due to my long absense - if anyone still comes here so it may take some time to get this blog going again. If you are here and have enjoyed what you have seen - please pass this link on to others.

Thank you for being here and thank you for returning.

Larry
